JV Hockey

The JV hockey team this year was a very skilled team with many talented individuals with different skill sets. We had started the season off with a weekend of prep showcase games. The first two teams we played, Willkes/Barre Junior Knights, and EC Militia were both very strong teams that we had lost to. Although we had lost, we knew these were our first games together and were still building up the chemistry for future games. Our hopes and morale skyrocketed when we played our next game against FCHA or Franklin County Hockey Academy. We came out on top with a 3-2 win in overtime with Brady Chase ‘25 nipping one top corner.

After a long Christmas break, we were all back at the Alfond Arena excited about our upcoming games. Our head coach Luke Williams, prepared our mindset to be focused because we generally were not always locked in and lost to teams whom we knew we could have beaten. It kickstarted with a game against Keene, where we completely dominated the opposition. We made excellent plays and ended up with a 4-1 win. The next game was against FCHA again, and we knew that it was going to be a tough game. We scored 2 goals early in the first period and thought it was going to be a breeze, but then they scored a goal the next shift after. The game continued, and the score was 3-3 late in the third period. It was extremely physical with many penalties on both ends, and we ended up with a power play with around 3 minutes left. The power play started dull, and we could not set it up in the offensive zone. We changed it up to the second power play lineup, and Felix Cui ‘25 scored with a lucky bounce. The game ended with us winning 4-3, and it was really a fun game to win.

This year the JV hockey team consists of Jed Amstein ‘25, Jack Boron ‘25, Brady Chase ‘25, Wade Crowther ‘24, Felix Cui ‘25, Zach Davine ‘25, Colin Galli ‘26, Cam Haskin ‘25, Liam Kim ‘26, Chris Lee ‘26, Michael Mickiewicz ‘27, Henrik Pang ‘25, Cam Riva ‘25, Ari Seol ‘26, Bear Sventy ‘26, Walker Sventy ‘25, Logan Tyler ‘25, Mason Vassar ‘26, Dom Watson ‘25, Connor Williams ‘25, Hans Yu ‘24. We are looking forward to an exciting and fun season!
